  • Our Flexible Licensing Model
  • Perpetual vs. Subscription vs. Fixed-Term License
  • Single Modules vs. Enterprise License

Dashworks is extremely versatile. It has delivered millions of migrations across more than a dozen enterprise IT use cases; stand-alone, one-off project, managing multiple projects at the same time, as an Evergreen IT management tool, or a combination of the above. To accommodate our clients' different needs, we designed an ultra-flexible licensing model that allows you to choose between perpetual, fixed-term and annual subscription agreements. You can choose the required bolt-on modules individually, or get one, all you can eat cost-effective license to manage it all.

License metric: In scope seat count

Available Modules For Licensing:

  • Analysis System (mandatory - data warehouse module)
    • Provides the baseline inventory and linkage of data to support all of your Evergreen and migration project needs.
  • Project System for Users & Computers (optional)
    • Provides the ability to manage multiple end-user and device initiatives such as Windows 7 -> 10, Windows as a Service, hardware refresh, application rollouts, and VDI transformation.
  • Project System for Mailboxes (optional)
    • Provides the ability to manage mailbox initiatives such as O365 migration, tenant to tenant migration or mergers and acquisitions
  • Analysis+ (optional)
    • For customers requiring detailed application lifecycle analysis and automated application categorization / normalization against a catalog
  • Dashworks UAT Application Management (optional)
    • For customers requiring automated application smoke testing, application packaging, and workflow management

Please note that Dashworks Analysis is the only mandatory component to be licensed as it provides the baseline from which all projects are run. You may pick and choose other modules based on your project requirements or purchase an enterprise license which gives you access to  Dashworks Analysis and both Project System modules.

When buying Dashworks, our customers can choose between perpetual, fixed-term and annual subscription licenses. The type of license depends on the type of project(s) you are planning on managing with our solution — now and in the future.

Perpetual License

By purchasing a perpetual license, you gain access to Juriba Dashworks as long as you need it for unlimited projects, without having to worry about a looming contract deadline.

  • Support & Maintenance is included for the first year
  • From year 2 and onward, support and maintenance are an additional 25% of the net license cost

The break-even point for perpetual versus fixed-term licenses is 16-18 months, so we recommend choosing the perpetual license where capital expenditure (CapEx) is preferred and long-term or multiple projects to manage your Evergreen IT, ongoing Windows 10 and Office 365 updates, etc are in scope.

Annual Subscription License

By purchasing an annual subscription license, you gain access to Juriba Dashworks on a yearly basis for unlimited projects, with the option of an annual renewal.

  • Includes Support and Maintenance for the duration of the contract term.

We recommend choosing the annual subscription license where operational expenditure (OpEx) is preferred and long-term or multiple projects to manage your Evergreen IT, ongoing Windows 10 and Office 365 updates, etc are in scope.

Fixed-Term License

On occasion, our clients and partners undertake one larger big-bang IT transformation project at a time. For those clients who are planning on a larger stand-alone project and have a specific one-time requirement (e.g., a project that is due to run for 12 months) without any future plans, a fixed-term license can be the more cost-effective option.

  • A fixed-term license is agreed upon for a specific term (e.g., 12 months) in advance.
  • Pricing is dependent upon the volume of seats and the length of the term.
  • Includes Support and Maintenance for the duration of the term.

Because of the fast break-even point, we recommend exploring perpetual licenses for any projects longer than 16 months.

Depending on your project requirements, you can choose to either purchase modules

  • Individually, e.g., Dashworks Project System for Users/Computers to manage your user or computer-related projects (such as a hardware refresh), or
  • In a bundle as an enterprise license, which includes Dashworks Analysis, Dashworks Project System for Users & Computers, and Dashworks Project System for Email and is more cost-effective than buying all three standard modules separately.
Please note that Dashworks Analysis+ and Dashworks Application Management are not included in the enterprise license and have to be purchased separately.
